March is nationally recognised as Intellectual Disability Awareness Month – a time when we celebrate the accomplishments and passion of children and adults affected by Intellectual Disability.
With its theme of Human Rights for All, the Intellectual Disability Awareness Campaign will focus on the promotion of Human Rights for persons with intellectual disabilities in relation to access to basic services such as housing, employment as well as ensuring increased availability of community based facilities.
